Teaching Guides

Along with educator Alex Dwyer, we’ve developed a Common Core aligned curriculim for the GOBLIN graphic novel.

The guide uses the 6th grade Common Core Standard. For learners that are below or above, the guide can be augmented by adding grade level specific direction and vocabulary to the questions.

Had a great time visiting with the Punta Gorda School and the Punta Gorda Charlotte Library. I went with artist @willperkinscomics and we talked about our graphic novel GOBLIN and ran a workshop on making comics. It was a whirlwind visit and in two days the whole thing was over. I got to meet some great kids, librarians, and teachers. Also a kid threw up in the airport and no one on my flight back would move out of the way and let the people with connecting flights get off. Goblins are better than people. And hug a teacher when you can, I don’t know how they do it.
